People in a democracy get the government they deserve. If the people of Houston want this woman mis-representing them to the nation instead of someone more mature, competent and effective, more power to them. As for the people who choose to work for her, it's their choice.

But United needs to consider whether the bad publicity it will get for catering to the whims of this spoiled brat in a grown-up's body are worth it.

As far as United goes, they probably couldn’t give a rat’s ass as their customer base has become so dehumanized by, and enervated to, today’s flying experience that they know this won’t cast them.
