Wasn’t he a VERY annoying character on Star Trek: TNG?

I remember that character, Q, on “Star Trek, The Next Generation.”

In one episode, Q appeared in a reclining position, nude, hovering over the console on the bridge.

He fell to the floor in his birthday suit. With a grin, he looked up at a very annoyed Captain Picard and said, “Red Alert!”

I remember that! Worst character ever. He reminded me of that floating green Martian they introduced on Flintstones.

Q made Next Generation almost watchable. I really hated all of the psychobabble on that show. Voyager and Deep Space 9 were almost as bad. The original series was OK, but within the context of the era (1960’s). It was one of my favorites growing up. I could get behind Enterprise. They actually took the time to try to develop those characters. They weren’t entirely successful, but at least they tried.
