Upon further reflection I shouldn’t have criticized you.
I think what happened is that I stumbled onto a thread, noticed in your posts a certain dynamic usually found in mystery novels, or gypsy soothsayers, where the true purpose is not to fill in blanks, but to create new blanks, to build suspense, to create a mystery.
The only problem was that I, and apparently others, must have stumbled into some ongoing discussion that, while it may hold intrigue for some, to me just seemed pretentious.
So, the problem was me - an uninvited member of the audience without the prerequisite history or reverence for Q and whatever it is that you and he are talking about.
We can understand how it might come across that way. The discerning & perceptive will detect otherwise.
We have been impressed that the dialogue on this thread has managed to stay so much above tacky shallow brick bats most of the time.
We have been impressed that those on this thread have shared so many interesting points, curiosities with reasonably good humor, wit and reasonably well read and well-reasoned insights, comments and questions.
We never expected that such dialogues would please everyone. That's not human nature and it's certainly not the nature of this topic.
