How interesting (slightly) that you seem to have missed my (and Q's comments in my ear's) earnest efforts to speak meaningfully to the general topic and even to individual posts.

Perhaps deflection is in the eye of the beholder ... or in the biases of the beholder.

Actually, we fairly vigorously value telling it like it is and hitting as many nails on the head as we are able. Q got that from the cowboy Southwestern USA where one called a spade a spade or were considered to be a wuss or worse--a phony. I got a similar attitude and stance because of family dynamics in my family of origin.

We do recognize that mileage may vary. And (Q particularly)--certainly our views, opinions, stances are not one size fits all.

So the contrarians are quite welcome to scroll on by before the cortisol (sp?) floods their bloodstream, decreasing their lifetime.

However, if there is a specific that you'd like a more pointed reply to, let us know.
