It might not be much different then when he chose a concrete company to deliver on time and pump up the mix and that it would set properly. He went with tried and true he could rely on, not some new fangled upstart.
He is doing it here in MI with endorsing Schuette for Governor vs our Tea Party guy ( Who is brilliant BTW ) Pat Colbeck, I disagree with him on this, but I will let it unfold and see what happens...
Agreed, Trump is not a purist. He has his agenda... and he will do what he thinks is best for that... He know nominating Crazy Roy was a losing hand but was forced to go along with it...
