I’ve always thought so.
The Iranians want to be the new Caliphate. They want regional hegemony and global intimidation. They will not be stupid enough to attack Israel. Instead, they will continue fighting using proxies. Just the fact that Iran is nuclear-armed and continually threating Israel will have a big impact on investment in Israel and thus on the Israeli economy. The longer a nuclear Iran exists, the more of a threat they are to the entire world.
Why would a culture that lives and thrives on hostage taking not plant their bombs in foreign nations so they can blow them up by remote control? Deal with them now and except the consequences or submit to Islam later to avoid millions of casualties. Thank you, Jimmy Carter.
