Collectively known as the Deep State, the institutions you mention are certainly and effectively using their enormous power to thwart much of the agenda of the Trump administration. But it seems a stretch to claim that they “own” it, because the Trump team has effected changes that the Deep State opposes but has been powerless to prevent.
I only say that because we are not pushing back in kind. We have no special prosecutor on our side. In a sense, the Trump administration is owned. There is no clout in only hollering from the sidelines.
We are going to need an SP if the courts are going to be the weapon of choice, used by Trump’s enemies. The courts are going to be the method by which Tramp is tormented to the point of choking his agenda, weakening his Administration and his re-election.
A freely and constitutionally elected presidency should not be this hard.
