“Clean”—at least when it comes to matters in the moral realm—is not how I would describe Trump. Much of his life has been lived according to a liberal worldview. Much of what is admirable about his presidency is b/c he’s beholden (and to his credit, willing to govern accordingly) to a strong conservative agenda (see the 2017 GOP platform).

Such an interesting read (whether you're a believer or not) is the tale of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible. It's very telling that in that passage, the people consumed by evil were not content to simply relish in their evil, but sought to destroy everything that was good.

Sure, he was divorced and remarried three times. So was Newt Gingrich. Ronald Reagan was divorced and remarried once, but he was also an adoptive parent. George Bush was an alcoholic (Trump doesn't drink), but remained faithful to his wife. None of them was morally perfect.

Clean - in the business realm - includes his early alleged scandals such as:

1) being sued by the Justice Department for alleged racism. Trump said that all real estate companies in the area were sued, and his was caught in the net.

2) bankruptcies in Atlantic City. Trump said that all the Atlantic City casinos eventually filed for bankruptcy, and that he saved his investors from additional losses by declaring bankruptcy early.

3) Trump University - Trump licensed his name to a real estate training company. Students were divided on the value of the training.

What's NOT on that list are pre-campaign labor union disputes, regulatory inspector bribes, accusations of sub-standard materials, mob influence, or other charges commonly associated with the construction industry.

I can think of no culture, no industry, no group of people less qualified to lecture anyone—especially the culture at large—about sexual immorality than the depraved, sex-crazed deviants that permeate Hollywood, U.S.A.
