The other thing about the story at the link is they did not mention that lesbian television series. I don’t know if they covered sexual abuse on it, but if they did, I wonder if it was based on real incidents. ( I never watched the show.)

When Googling various actresses over the years, I've noticed that when you click on the "images" link you will almost always find several "cheesecake" type photos, even among actresses who weren't later known for playing "sexpot" roles.

It seems like posing for such photos was almost a right of passage - "show us what you've got" - as a sign of submission to Hollywood power and authority, and that most budding actresses - eager for fame and fortune - willingly submitted. The pressure to engage in actual sex just took it one step further.

I personally know of 2 naive Midwestern young men who traveled out to Hollywood wanting to be actors - they quickly discovered the Casting Couch Culture (of gay men) and came back home.
You can bet the same scenario is played out every single day, for both young men and women.
