It's extremely timely, given the left's hatred of President Trump, to make the whole Harvey Weinstein-Hollywood sexual abuse thing about men in powerful positions taking advantage of poor, innocent women who were just trying to make it in the business. But when we're talking about Weinstein just being the tip of the iceberg, let's not buy into that floating mass just being composed of testosterone.

Absolutely. That’s a well written post by a guy named Jim. Not a series of posts calling other freepers scumbags and thieves by a different guy.
You predictably ignore the point of it.
I have no complaint if a good conservative blogger posts his own material to FR, not as an excerpt to drive hits and discussion back to his blog, but rather to impart useful information to OUR readers and to promote and join in on the discussion and conservative activism HERE on FR.
That is likely beyond you, but I tried.
So are you Jim? Is humblegunner a pen name for the owner of Free Republic? Or did he task you with insulting those who excerpt original content? Did he at least appoint you as an admin?
I think it’s more likely you just took the job on yourself and in your manner of enforcement chose to call people scumbags and thieves and judged that sort of self appointed authority “beyond me”.
If this sort of thing bothers you so much perhaps a better way to proceed would be to alert an admin and let them take it from there.

Seeing as how easy it is to tell an admin and that you are in no personal or financial danger I’d say that’s a weak comparison.
