Officials in 2001 suppressed Charles Bishra/Bishop's suicide note/terrorist threats/allegiance to Bin Laden until months into 2002.

They denied there was any terrorist thought behind it (the word was in his first sentence). It included a threat against the Superbowl (hollow), couldn't let the Big Game be impacted by a pimple faced teenaged jihadist. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/crime/teen-pilots-suicide-note

I don't know who crossed out the word terrorist but the media omits it from the transcriptions. Funny how that worked. Who was this, Charlie Brown? You make an error in the first sentence, you'd probably just start over.
