Best book is “Case Closed” by Gerald Posner. He used a digital reenactment to correctly position the jump seat that Connally was riding in-—NOT directly in front of JFK but . . . down, and to the left, meaning there was no “magic bullet.” There was a normal, typical bullet that went in a straight line.
Combined with the audio, it pretty much ends this stuff.
