Addressing the nation on Monday, President Trump said the Las Vegas shooting was an “act of pure evil.” This much is true. With more than 59 killed and over 527 injured at the Route 91 Harvest Festival after a gunman opened fire for over ten minutes from the thirty-second floor of Mandalay Bay, my prayers go out to those in Vegas or those who have lost loved ones.
This is undoubtedly a tragedy and one that has rocked the nation. It shows how vulnerable we all are at the whim of a supposedly deranged man. But it also reveals how there are so many more good people out there than bad. The heroics of our law enforcement on the scene and other everyday Americans helping others amidst the chaos that erupted in Vegas on Sunday night reminds us all how fortunate we are to live in this country where most of us respect and love each other.
However, there are many questions and suspect storylines evolving as the dust is settling after the greatest mass shooting in recent American history was perpetrated.

If it’s a strobe (and it might be), still, why is this the ONLY flashing light seen?
Why aren’t lights like that going off on all floors, and especially the 32nd?

There is a taxi driver who videod with her cell phone starting pretty soon after the shooting started. If you listen to the first couple of minutes you will hear a string of about 15 shots, very loud, overhead. Then you hear that string echo off two different buildings. Then there is a long pause, almost a minute, and then another, longer burst from much farther away but louder than the echos and while that burst is going there is a new burst, very loud overhead.
I am not implying anything but the recording is there. It goes on for another 15 minutes but she drives away at about the 5 minute mark.

Watch the video. It is no strobe. (Unless the make strobes in pointed, elliptical shapes with accompanying audio).
Spot on. I'd never talk on a survey about guns. Instead I would tell them a gut wrenching story about a boat accident. ;o)

What I can’t get anyone to answer is: where is ANY video oc muzzle flash at the 32nd floor? I haven’t seen one.

Thanks for the “Cabbie” video; very interesting. Does look like flashing from a lower floor in sync with the gunfire sounds. I wonder if it could be a reflection? Although that would be strange.

Not “proof positive”, could have been some type of reflection, but it could also be ANOTHER SHOOTER.

On the other hand, see the video which may or may not show rapid muzzle flashes from a much lower floor not on the corner.
It was a (very) large suite. Someone posted the floorpan of said suite, on one of the early threads. Three sided, glass wall of windows, IIRC.
