stockpile of firearms and explosives that would fill your local National Guard Armory

40 or so weapons wouldn't fill a closet, much less a building. Many people keep their lives private and unless they sit on their front porch cleaning guns, neighbors wouldn't know diddly. I guess we could always revert to the old style commie communities where a neighborhood informer would live and document their neighbors. Maybe just gun control for millionaires that gamble excessively would be called for.

But seriously, I don't doubt there will be calls for NICS to track number of purchases by individuals and trigger law enforcement checks if a certain number is breached or NICS rejection till cleared by local law enforcement approves.

Of course they could get around such monitoring by just buying from private individuals. Armslist.com makes such transactions very, very easy and there’s no background check.
