My favorite NFL corruption story is how they were lauded for their “tributes” to the military with color guards and flyovers at their games. Left unsaid was that the US government PAID the NFL $ 5.4 MILLION in taxpayer money for the privilege of being “honored” by this antitrust-exempt, taxpayer fattened combine.
I guess Liberals are tired of the ‘day-in, and day-out’ struggle with conservatives for the American culture and finally decided to just hijack it outright!

Anthem bashing is popular with the left. And it’s very popular with the social justice bloggers who increasingly dominate sports journalism, and not just on ESPN. Hating America will score points with the left. It’ll buy the NFL more protectionism from the media and the 2020 Democrats.
Just like Iran and ISIS, maybe the NFL should just move to Iran to be with like minded people.
