I don’t remember another candidate ever, who having admitted defeat, then did not come out that night and concede. One can only assume she was too unhinged and or drunk to pull herself together.
The Secret Service had probably held her down while Dr. Feelgood injected her with about 300 cc's of Thorazaine. She was in la-la land after that.
Her physicians had likely been juicing her to the limits to prevent a disastrous public episode of Parkinson’s or whatever, and she naturally crashed. We’ll likely never know til after she dies and people feel free to tell the truth about her health during the campaign.
