I loved Star Trek. I couldn’t bear the political correctness of Voyager. I hated the communism expressed in TNG. I finally just gave up on Star Trek. I won’t watch propaganda.

TV viewership is way down across the board. Yes, changing technology has an impact, but I think this has a lot to do with the fact that TV has become mostly liberal propaganda. Not even liberals want to watch propaganda.

TNG was a total propaganda series with just the right smug actor to play Captain Picard. I always found Patrick Stewart a condescending & patronizing Jackass as the Captain and frankly did not like #2 Riker any better.

I vividly remember a scene in one of those episodes where he told someone that money was a thing of the past and that everyone worked toward the benefit of everyone else, and that was itself it's own reward.

What BS that was and is. Somewhere Roddenberry went off the rails and stayed there, I think some had to do with the second wife, she used to be on the original Star Trek, she played nurse Chapel, Majel Barrett.
