I don’t know much about the current US attorney, Channing Phillips. Note that the accusations in the article are from “FBI veterans,” not named. But why is someone that close to Holder still the US attorney for DC? If Trump fired him, who would take his place? Trump’s nominee has not made it through the Senate yet.
