Uh, no. It’s private property, some of which might be open to the public.

It’s something like a car dealership. I can, for example, freely walk into any Toyota dealership. But I can’t then unfurl a big “Toyota Cars Are Junk” banner and not get in trouble.

Yeah, I hear ya. There are a lot of people that confuse “public ownership” and “public access”. A city sidewalk is public property in that it is owned by the city. It is also public access as the public is allowed to freely use that sidewalk. The county jail is also public property in that it is owned by the county but it is NOT public access.

The owner determines the access is the basic theory but apparently that is not being taught in schools anymore.
