Totally agree: all those so-called men who avoided serving their country in one of the services - particularly when their country needed them in wartime - are useless.
I served from 1965 to 1969 as an enlisted Marine and it was maddening to come home to see twits - able-bodied twits - standing around while we did all the hard stuff for our country. Or worse yet, making idiots of themselves, pretending they were "conscientious objectors" or carrying the enemy's flag.

As a vet I’d say that was a bit self serving.

I remember taking riot training at Fort Bliss... Maybe if I had a chance to skewer a hippie or two with that bayonet I could feel a little better about what that generation is doing to our nation now... Those shit birds are the Lawyers and politicians of today...

Those able bodied twits are leading our county as I see it. Few people in leadership roles in the US are veterans.

pretending they were "conscientious objectors" or carrying the enemy's flag. I knew of at least 3 active duty Air Force dudes, who were cheering for the North Vietnamese to win. I think they were communists, or at least communist sympathizers. One had been a member of the SDS, which I was not familiar with at that time. I just thought he sounded like a big time leftist.
