There are some common things so first look at the general case:

There are evil people out there that desire power most of all in life. They want this power to suppress others while enriching themselves and their friends.

Yet they are outnumbered, so they have to convince others to put them in power, i.e., they need a marketing plan.

Some people accept the marketing plan, others don’t. Of those that believe the marketing, there are useful idiots and true believers.

The useful idiots sit on the sidelines echoing the marketing plan. The true believers sign up to actually assist those desiring power because they truly believe in the cause outlined in the marketing plan. They don’t recognize that the true goal is power.

Now for the specific:

The only root difference between communist and nazi is the marketing plan.

Nazis capitalized on the tribalist and naturalist part of human nature to convince others that there was a master race (of which they were apart), that is superior to all others, has an inherent right to the land and its controlling authority. Inferior races must be cleansed.

Communists capitalize on the envious part of human nature to convince others that there are those manipulating them to keep them down. The state must control the economy and distribute fairly.

Note that both of these capitalize on negative aspects of human nature. They both promise freedom for some, but not for others.

And perhaps most importantly, note that both systems require totalitarian power, so once actually in power, the only way to free yourself is through force. Those pushing the marketing plan conveniently leave out this annoying detail.

Only a system that promises freedom for all, marketing the positive aspects of human nature is just. It’d also have to be a system that limits the actual government so it does not have totalitarian power, nor make it easy to obtain.

The only such system in the history of mankind was the free market capitalist system established by the founders of the United States.

But that’s long gone.
