Was the star of Bethlehem astrology? Or evil?
“Was the star of Bethlehem astrology? Or evil?”
Stars are inanimate objects. Inanimate objects can not be evil. Astrology, on the other hand, is a sinful practice, as the Bible teaches us.
“All the advice you receive has made you tired. Where are all your astrologers, those stargazers who make predictions each month? Let them stand up and save you from what the future holds. But they are like straw burning in a fire; they cannot save themselves from the flame. You will get no help from them at all; their hearth is no place to sit for warmth.” Isaiah 47:13-14
“You are not to practice divination or sorcery.” Lev. 19:26
“This is what the LORD says: ‘Don’t learn the way of the nations, and don’t be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified of them.’” Jer. 10:2
