Not sure of the advantage as Trump has already conducted a hostile takeover of the R party. Why not continue to transform it rather than starting from scratch? Take a while to drain all the swampy areas, but a couple of good elections would go a long way. He’s going to have to use the bully pulpit and all his persuasive powers to get good replacement candidates elected. Not jacked-up tea party nuts who can’t even get their own party’s support or solid locks like Ryan has in WI which just divert energy from good candidates who have a good chance of winning. If Reince wants to be useful he could go work on this instead of turning up on CNN...

If Reince wants to be useful he could go work on this instead of turning up on CNN... Trump's got until 2018 to see if that tactic will work. Let's see if he can get rid of Ryan. I have to admit, I'm a bit skeptical, but if anyone can pull it off ("it" being Trump holding rallys in Ryan's district overtly supporting a Republican challenger in opposition to Ryan), the President can.
