Quick review.
Slavery was enshrined in the United States constitution by the votes of New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Delaware, and Maryland. And also Virginia, North and South Carolina, and Georgia.
Slavery was also enshrined in the Confederate States constitution.
Both the Union and Confederates had slaves.
During the War Between the States, both the United States and Confederate States had presidents who took oaths to defend and protect their respective pro-slavery constitutions.
After the Emancipation Proclamation, one of the presidents added a slave state to his nation.
Do you know which?
None of which changes the basic truth that the confederacy was formed to maintain slavery even though there was no immediete threat to end it. You refuse to admit that was the south’s motive even though it’s well documented by the speeches of the secessionists at the time. The north fought to maintain the union. Only after much blood had already been spilled did public sentiment support abolition. Also on the one hand you claim Lincoln was responsible for the war, yet you also point out that Lincoln offered extraordinarily generous terms to avoid it as if that makes Lincoln unprincipled. Your arguments are great distractions but don’t change the central truth of the war that you won’t admit. I’m done.
