The other drug that goes bad reliably is nitroglycerine in tablet form.
Angina patients can tell if it is potent when they take it.
The old pills don't work as well.
I welcome this kind of study, because homeless shelters and medical missions get drugs all the time that mainstream retailers are legally unable to sell because of the expiration date; nevertheless the mission workers would like to know if they are still actually potent and safe.
Amen on the nitro. I have prinzmetal angina. Was having an attack and reached for my nitro. First one didn’t work. I waited and then put a second one under my tongue. Waited. And waited. Finally it worked. When I looked at my script it was 2 months out of date. I stay on it now. Lol
“The other drug that goes bad reliably is nitroglycerine in tablet form.”
I have always found that interesting. Having a passing interest in explosive I can tell you that old “dynamite” is dangerous as hell. People still find it in old mines in the West and it is problematic.
Does that mean the nitro I got in 2011 after my heart attack is no good?
