The only liberal professors I had were for minimal humanities requirements to jump through the hoops. Real science and engineering instructors carry no political baggage, nor should they. The ones in the article teach fru-fru crap to impressionable drug addled kids.
Yes, the STEM fields are not the problem. The fields that have the word “studies” in their title are where the leftists are found. Unfortunately, many of these “studies” fields are the easy-grade courses where ignorant students often flock. The degrees are worthless and unmarketable in the working world.
Things have changed. Science and engineering professors are no longer the way they were 20 years ago. Many of them are quite liberal or at least they pretend to be that way to keep their jobs and grant money coming in.
