I used Wikipedia to update my own knowledge of Khadr. It ended with the laconic comment that the compensation would be shared by Khadr and his lawyers. Ah lawyers! One of them called Edney, a Scottish native, invited Khadr to stay with him and his wife. This to assure his quick release from custody. He had his 15 minutes of fame as a "humanitarian". To say nothing of the lovely Bawbees he will pocket.

Canada still a nation of diverse opinions and beliefs. All of us certainly do not parrot the official Justin Trudeau platitudes. The press very unsympathetic to any diverse views.
