President Donald Trump confirmed during his Iowa rally Wednesday that he is considering building a border wall with solar panels.
A source told The Daily Caller earlier this month that Trump raised the idea of solar panels during a meeting with congressional leaders. (RELATED: Trump Proposed Solar Panel Covered Border Wall)
During Wednesday’s rally, Trump promised his supporters that he was still going to build a wall on the southern border to prevent illegal immigration and drug peddling.
“And yes, we will build the wall,” he said. “We’ve already started planning–it will be built.”
“And I’ll give you an idea that nobody has heard about yet,” Trump teased. “We’re talking about the southern border. Lots of sun, lots of heat. We’re thinking about building the wall as a solar wall.”
Trump argued the energy created by the solar panels could help the wall pay for itself

Not just cars like the TESLA, or NISSAN LEAF, but everyone has cell phones, laptops, notepads, spare battery pack, remote pod speakers. In the near future delivery trucks, buses, police vehicles, will all go electric.
Unfortunately, Trump is trying to sell ice water to people in hell, and their pride won't let them admit they want the water.
Solar City will be giving panels away for free pretty soon. If they’re already built (on our dime) we may as well put them to use somewhere.
Liberals are so crazy about solar power. The wall will now become like the tempting ring from Lord of the Rings for them.
It is hard to scale a glass wall and even dangerous when the solar panels are generating electricity. But will the US be liable if someone try to climb the wall and fall to his or her death or get electrocuted?

Only a climate denier would oppose a southern solar border wall.

I love this idea, which Fox Business reported last week. The wall will provide abundant, cheap energy which will bring Mexico into the 21 st century, spurring industry and growing their economy, not to mention ours. The middle class will grow and Mexicans will no longer have the incentive to cross the border but those who do will find an unpenitratible wall of scorching solar panels. Because it provides much needed energy to the Mexican people, they will probably help to ensure it doesn’t get destroyed.
