My take is that he was fired because of comments like this: ‘I could not demonstrate intent to release classified information’
He wasn’t even going to recommend arresting Huma Abedin...
When it comes to disclosing classified information, intent (unlike for other crimes) is IRRELEVANT. That right there means that Comey was a) unaware of the law or b) choosing which law to follow and which one not to. Both reasons to fire him.
Lets get a new FBI director, and lets get some convictions on this email mess.
