I think the brouhaha/scare leading up to “Y2K” and the impending collapse of society from old computer software is affecting the way some folks perceive the EMP threat. They think, “Hey, that expert little boy has cried wolf before. No need to worry now.”
Y2K could have been a disaster. We had to fix a lot of shit before. It was an untold success story in technology.
