Yes, we were in CO2 starvation during the last ice age. The only thing saving the planet is the dryness and ice from the ice age limiting the weathering that reduces atmospheric CO2. Once the plant life dies, CO2 starts to rise with any amount of ocean warming (which releases CO2).
The bottom line is manmade CO2 is unequivocally good.
