I tried to read Crosby’s biography but he was such a waste of space it was hard to read. He is a very talented guy that just wasted his life with drugs and then self-worship. .

I was just watching a concert film with eric Clapton and neil young . Clapton takes a solo, makes it look so easy with very little effort so smooth timing he even closes his eyes and the guitar just magically sings.. Then Neil's turn; he struggles with body motion just to hit the top note, then he seems to loose his balance as more notes smeared and late in time escape the guitar he appears to a have a seizure , its as if he is battling the instrument with anger... thus illustrates in general, liberals are at war with nature, with other people , their struggle is with God really and really shows the way neil young plays music... i don't know Clapton's politics or religion , but i would bet not as extreme ..

Clapton is an extremely level-headed guy, real class act. He’s not political.

Outside of family, he focuses on music and music only, including musical history. He’s a walking encyclopedia of music. And personally, he’s what one would want their musical child to grow into.

He experienced the 60s era and escaped its downside. He became a responsible loving husband and father. The tragic loss of his young child is a heartbreak of the ages.

Please don’t ever link Crosby with the great Mickey Mantle. MM was and will forever be a childhood hero who gave back to kids more than a 100-fold.

Grew up watching Mickey and loved him - he did ruin his liver with booze then get preferential standing for a transplant though.
