I rode the subway from Yokohama to Tokyo about 10 years ago. Sharing the car with us were a bunch of 1st & 2nd graders (they were wearing uniforms so they must have been all going to the same school). They had no adult supervision/accompaniment and apparently didn’t need any. They all got off at the right station and went on their way. This is in one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world.
Not to worry,, Libby Schaaf will corral the wascals and punish em real good.. She’s running for a 2nd term as Mayor.
Talk about uniting communities and youts.. Im sure BART riders will be comforted to know they could be next..
