It is the attitude, but it is not just that. I came of age in the late 1970s. College age women were, on average, a lot better looking then. Now, too many of them look like shapeless, sexless entities. Yes, there are still some that are very good looking, but they are definitely in the minority. As an older white male, I would not even go out with many—even if you paid me.
In my youth, I did really not like Asian women. But they seem much more appealing than American women these days.
I’m stunned at how women, pre-1990, look, move and even vocally sound so different than females today that are actually at ages higher.
Women in the 60-80s seem so refined, and polished.
A fellow I served with in Viet Nam came home from the war, went to law school married a fellow student and both became highly successful attorneys. When he was 59 years old and on a business trip his wife left him and he returned to find out she had sold the house and that everything except one bank account was in her name. He had no clue before and was devastated. He thought he had a fine marriage. He even went out and bought a gun to shoot himself. then he got to thinking he had always meant to go back to Viet Nam to see what the country looked like now (2006) and put off the suicide. He went for a 2 week visit . He had business contacts there so he wasn’t just on his own and went to parties and on outings. There was always a pleasant young widow at these things. He went back a couple more times in a 4 month period and that young widow was always around. Upshot: he married her and hasn’t been back to the States since. I met her and her daughter when I visited with him in Ha Noi and later in Nha Trang. She is ideal and Art doesn’t have to worry about visas and stuff, His in laws are old retired Party bureaucrats. Young widows with children have no marriage prospects in Viet Nam and the parents spotted the American, found out his situation and trapped him. Best thing that ever happened to him.
Hold up a minute - I’ve been noticing lately I go to the airport or a sports match and I don’t see as many hot women as I used to. I thought that was just me. Are you saying there’s something to it?

There are more good looking college girls than there are not-so - good -looking ones.
The behavior has certainly changed but they still have youth in their favor as far as looks go.
