The first rule of Trump Club is: Don’t believe anything the Leftstream Media reports about him.
The second rule of Trump Club is: DON’T BELIEVE ANYTHING the Leftstream Media reports about him.
The third rule of Trump Club is: Check Trump’s Twitter for news about his Presidency. Bypass the leftoid gatekeepers.
The fourth rule of Trump Club is: Trust Trump’s instincts. He wrote “Art of the Deal’; understand he will do some deal-making as President that won’t mean selling his supporters down the river.
The fifth rule of Trump Club is: Don’t expect Trump to govern like a Democreep or a Recucklican. He is a Jacksonian paradigm shift.
The sixth rule of Trump Club is: Be patient. The man has enemies on all sides. The war for national sovereignty against the Globohomo Bathhouse Alliance won’t be won overnight.
The seventh rule of Trump Club is: Trust YOUR instincts, and stay loyal to Trump. The media wants to sow dissension within Trump’s ranks and among his supporters. Refuse to take their bait. This doesn’t mean criticizing Trump is off-limits, but abandoning him to the jackals every time he makes a trivial move that violates some arcane alt-tenet will betray you, not Trump, as the untrustworthy party.
The eighth rule of Trump Club is: This is our first term in Trump Club. We have to fight.
***
Why we need these rules: Because you’d never see a headline like this one during a C*nt Presidency:
Excellent
Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me?
D-O-N-A-L-D T-R-U-M-P!
Donald Trump!
Donald Trump!
Together let us build the wall, high, high, high, high!
He’s come along the drain the swamp!
He’s not a bit PC!
D-O-N-A-L-D T-R-U-M-P!
govern like a Democreep or a Recucklican...
Using those childish alternate names destroys a blogger/poster/author’s credibility to all but the choir. And it is improper even if speaking only to the choir.
I love it. I could have written this and have said the same to many. Thank you.
And for all of those who might be confused DJT is the president not Steve Bannon
Since when are you the arbiter of what is proper or improper in what someone else can say? You don't have the corner on the intelligence market here.
Why don't you make some substantive comment about the thread instead of playing the childish lexicon, grammar and spelling police?
I don't care for stick-in-the-mud fuddy-duddies. Destroys their "credibility".
Almost alone and a dominant figure, the President holds the key to demolishing PC. As has been sadly proved, even closed associates can fall prey to the PC vultures. Witness the case of Sean Spicer. He had only simply declare on the furore over his recent statement re poison gas.
I have the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. My opinion stands. Live with it.
The scumbag media could have done absolutely nothing. Why? because as yet even with the apology from Sean Spicer, he is still there. (Albeit bruised and chastened by PC)
I’m not. I’m offering solid advise. The OP site can take it or leave it.
To anyone: using the cute ad-hominem names only damages your credibility. Use them at your reputation’s peril.
Those are great points because the press is trying to infer that Trump “betrayed” his base while neglecting the fact that he was negotiating.
Because if you're only "....offering solid advise....", then make sure YOU spell the word correctly.
The word is "advice" in the context you used it, not advise. Advice is a noun. Advise is a verb.
Ya' see how this works? It cuts both ways. Now you have damaged YOUR "reputation" as an I-know-what's-best-for-others expert.
Your use of the word "peril", which means "serious and immediate danger", is hyperbole. An over-the-top description of what will happen to my reputation if I don't follow your archaic rule. I can hardly keep from shaking in my boots in fear of this "peril" you speak of.
Best to stick to the subject matter of the thread instead of handing out sloppy "advise" to others about their choice of what words to use. You've got problems of your own to take care of.
Because if you’re only “....offering solid advise....”, then make sure YOU spell the word correctly.
See the difference? And yes, I caught it after I posted, but there is no editing on this site once posted, so yes, I am occasionally a victim of the “spelling Nazis”.
But belittling through the silly names like “Obumbo”, or “democraps”, etc. Is both intentional and juvenile.
And yes, I mean “peril”. It is not over the top. As you pointed out, it means “serious and immediate danger”, which is the truth. I thought the OP was good but when I saw the words used to describe democrats and republicans, I thought, “What is this guy, 12?”
Of course, it depends on the audience. Like I said, it will go right by much of the choir. But not all.
Any political pundit that wants to be taken seriously outside his circle of friends will refrain from using the cutely degrading euphemisms of people’s and groups’ names.
How often to you hear pundits on the radio or Television, or respected sites like Conservativetreehouse, townhall, American Thinker, et al, use these silly euphemisms? Never. Once they do, they’ve reverted to amateur hour.
I really hate when I see it on FR.
There is not one thing wrong with trying to raise the bar on this site. It is a good thing to do.
BTW, those that think they know it all really annoy those of us who do. :-)
I will say that this is a pretty good list except for just two things. First is the use of derogatory words for the two parties, which I’ve already mentioned. The other is that I fully trust no man except Jesus. It’s the old, “trust but verify” Reaganism. I am being very patient with Trump. A surgeon must do damage to do his job, but I’m not going to judge him as a quack because he made an incision in my flesh (he cut me) to get at my organ in need of repair.
Is as if they think this is peacetime or something.
Quite the contrary. We are at war. The Enemy spends ample effort trying to undermine this President and the morale of his supporters.
Gratuitous, shortsighted second-guessing from those who claim to be supporters is completely uncalled for.
Constructive criticism is always in order, but when it instead becomes knee-jerk armchair quarterbacking, it serves no constructive purpose.
In such cases, it's either coming from disingenuous #NeverTrump elements, or else "Nervous Nellies" who seem to get hysterical every time the President deviates even slightly from their own preconceived dogma.
There's simply too much hand-wringing, and when criticism becomes a de facto benefit to the Enemy, even if someone thinks it's appropriate, it should be self-censored.
President Trump has proven his excellent instincts repeatedly, and has earned our trust and loyalty many times over. We should govern ourselves accordingly...
Aw, yes. I know what it is now. You sound just like a liberal who claims to be "triggered" or "micro-aggressed" and demands everyone else fall in line behind their opinions.
Apparently, there would be no freedom of speech on FreeRepublic, if you had anything to say about it.
;-)
BTW, you are projecting again.:)
I especially like the part about me being offended. I’m not. Though I think one of us may be - Which is one reason I mention projection.
Yep. We are at war. We have been in a cold civil war for quite some time, and the election appears to be Gettysburg. They went all in because they thought they had it. They expended HUGE political and monetary capital, yet they lost.
They are still fighting, but we have been awakened and this will not go well for them, as at least some of them are learning. Some of them will never learn though.
I’ve been arguing this stuff with liberals on the internet since 2006. They are going absolutely insane. It’s funny and tragic at the same time.
Whiner, moaner, groaner, complainer because someone else's free speech doesn't meet your arbitrary standards of political punditry.
So try this for projection: Bye.
