I'm not sure that's actually something to be proud of.
You don't get much whiter than Conde Nast or Si Newhouse or Anna Wintour.
The current editor of Teen Vogue is half-Black (and half-White) so she's taken the magazine in a different direction.
She's already gotten into trouble for using a very light-skinned model (half-White half-Fijian) in a story about black hair styles (originating in Africa).
She said she shouldn't have used a light-skinned model, but I don't think she ever admitted that her model wasn't any part Black (African).
I would have suspected that Lara Witt's outbursts have a lot to do with her own conflicted feelings about her parents.
But maybe she's just a jerk. She has a pattern of chiding other people for saying things that she goes on to tweet herself.
