Agreed. I’m a network engineer, this whole record looks fishy and the graphic above looks photochopped on many areas.

On top of the clickbait title, this whole thing stinks of fakery.

And registering a domain name to “get access to trump servers” is utterly ridiculous.

If you really are who you claim you are, then see post #3 and #17.

Okay, I’m with you. I felt something was wrong with the post, and you have a rational explanation. Thanks.

What you are seeing is someone putting it all together for the public to understand.

On post #2 you can see it matches an official DNS site.

Thus, what you are seeing is someone highlighted it in BOLD so the lay man understands what they are looking at.

Again this is very easy to prove if true or not. You see that on the link in post #2.

I opened up a Linux Box and typed “whois trump-email.com” and got exactly the info that is listed in the article, including the mis-spelling of “orgainization.”

So it is registered exactly as described, regardless of the quality of the printing.

I agree it provides no direct access to Trump servers—that is ridiculous. But, to a casual observer, it looks like it is registered to the Trump Organization, even if they had nothing to do with it. How would they even know?

So, what is your point—that you think the domain registration is fake? The registrar doesn’t think so.

If you click on the godaddy link registration, it is a little clearer.. I too looked at it a little puzzled, then went to the actual pull from godaddy and it seemed to be ‘okay’.

And not being an internet/computer guy, if one was to open a trump domain, how easy would it to be, if one knowingly has email contact addresses, etc, from ‘russian’ people to fake email conversations back and forth, providing ‘evidence’ of russian cooperation to a phony trump email system?

could an intelligence agency play those kind of games?

This record as displayed is legit.

Let me try again:

The reason the email address looks fishy is because whois.com is creating and swapping in images for the first part of all email addresses in their html.

I'm assuming this is an effort on their part to keep robots from harvesting email addresses from their data. In any case, it is completely legit (and smart), but it does create the perception of a font mismatch online and in screenshots.
