These tweets have simply created more questions than they have answered and they are the kinds of questions that are so basic they should have been made public with the allegations.
All of this reflects a half-cocked reaction rather than a cold-blooded counterattack using the full power of the federal government.
The argument that he does not have the full power of the federal government at his disposal is simply not true. He has to worry about sniping from leakers of course but that does not mean that Trump does not have the investigatory and prosecutorial power and the virtually infinite money of the United States at his disposal to pursue justice.
“We are not even clear what Trump is alleging...”
Could it be that Trump is alleging that Obama tapped his phones during the election?
Could it be that under the guise of national security, Obama was trying to find information that would help Hillary’s election chances?
Still haven’t gotten over your Trump hatred? Why don’t you go over to NRO and read Andrew McCarthy’s thoughts on the situation.
“These tweets have simply created more questions than they have answered”
That’s the point. And now Obama must respond not knowing what evidence Trump has. Will Obama deny the whole thing? Will he claim ignorance?
Unanswered questions feed the media frenzy. The press will cover this nonstop and the dems will be on the defensive. At the very least the media narrative will change dramatically from now on.
“half-cocked”?
We will see.
