For those who've never read it, early in the book House Atreides is granted fiefdom over Arrakis, the desert world that is the source of melange, the most precious substance known. The planet had formerly been held by their mortal enemies, the Harkonnens (evil, corrupt, hedonistic, too much into homosexuality).
Prior to the Atreides arriving and taking over the palace, the Harkonnens hide bugs, booby traps, sabotage of critical systems, and suicide agents all OVER the place. One is able to make an almost successful assasination attempt on Paul, the Atreides prince.
At this point, it wouldn't surprise me at all if House Obamanation had a hitman waiting in some neglected recess of the White House...
