Medicaid is a federal program and should be paid entirely with federal dollars. The states should have zero to do with it. Medicaid needs to be completely reworked as the federal program that it is. The states shouldn’t pay a dime towards it.

States run it because it's assumed they know the needs of their people. Take the states out and all you have is another monolithic federal entitlement.

It is already a monolithic federal entitlement, it’s just a monolithic entitlement that states are involved with to the detriment of everyone involved.
