Why cut the age at 12? As long as a girl is a minor, they shouldn't have to be exposed to perversion. And that is right up to 18 years of age. I remember my older sister, when she was 16, had a man flash his genitals at her while outside some stores in a shopping district. My Dad was livid and made a report to the police. My sister was freaked out. As for my family, I protected my daughters up until they went away to college beyond my ability to be there for them. Doing the same for my granddaughters.
