I'm pretty much convinced that is how it goes along the way to eventually, yes, being a mark on your forehead or right-hand. First, all transactions go electronic, people get used to it (fingerprint, phone, microchip) - then Bible Prophecy events happen - now you have to pledge your allegiance to the Antichrist's NWO - won't accept the Mark of the Beast - death by execution (beheading) - but your soul lives with Jesus Christ and God the Father forever - accept the Mark of the Beast - eternal damnation (Revelation Chapter 14).
