Early Glock 10mms had issues with leaving too much of the case unsupported around the feed ramp. Ejected brass had a bulge in the unsupported area that is known as the "
Glock Smile."
Sometimes the case would let go completely, resulting in this sort of kaboom.
The first generation Glock mod 22 in .40 were plagued with problems.
