Early Glock 10mms had issues with leaving too much of the case unsupported around the feed ramp. Ejected brass had a bulge in the unsupported area that is known as the "Glock Smile."

Sometimes the case would let go completely, resulting in this sort of kaboom.

The first generation Glock mod 22 in .40 were plagued with problems.
