I’m on a 90 minute commute after work and usually listen to NPR. I hear Brooks a lot. I consider him a low intelligence progressive hack. He’s only good for comedy relief.

And because of that, I actually look forward to what he has to say. It’s fun.

I understand.

I watch Amy Goodman and “Democracy Now”. She gives her guests 15 or 20 minutes to spell out their side of the issues.

So I can watch exactly what Cornel West, for example, says and believes (as opposed to a 5-second blip from the Drive-Bys). She produces extended video of events like the pipeline protest.

This gives me good background of the ‘other’ side.

And I yell and object, etc., then laugh, then get on with the day.
