Texas v. White, (1869), U.S. Supreme Court case in which it was held that the United States is “an indestructible union” from which no state can secede.

Texas vs. White determined that states CAN leave the Union, it only requires ‘consent of the states’ to leave.

consent of the states has been interpreted to mean 2/3 of state legislatures agreeing

given 33 of 50 state legislatures are R majority, thinking it’s a slam dunk California will be quickly granted consent
