That’s not the way conspiracy theorists work. Once they become emotionally invested in a story, most of them will never admit to themselves or anyone else that it was wrong, no matter how many of the predictions fail, or how much counter-evidence piles up to contradict the claims. That’s just not how emotional thinkers work.
As for credibility... if you question their credibility, they’ll just put you in the category of a schill, a troll, someone who is in on the conspiracy, so then they do not have to worry themselves about whether you believe them to be credible.
