Please eliminate Department of Education, and Energy.
And take a hatchet to EPA.
I'm old enough to remember the pollution back in the 70s. The EPA was a necessity back then.
I'd rather not revisit them, that's why I'm not thrilled with entirely doing away with the agency. However - it should be in "maintenance mode", more or less keeping the status quo, preventing things from getting too out of hand. I also can see the need for some sort of federal level regulatory body that can mediate between states - throwing something in the river in Minnesota *will* go downstream....
But the current out of control monster? Defining every mud puddle as a "wetland" and every roadside drainage ditch as a "navigable waterway"? A 50% cut might not be enough.
