In just one day Donal Trump will be the president of the United States. Even though the president-elect was accused by Republican primary opponent Ted Cruz of having "New York values," it appears that New Yorkers are ready to resist "Trump values."
Mayor Bill de Blasio and a host of activism organizations and celebrities will hold an inauguration eve protest in front of the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Columbus Circle. The protest is expected to be attended by stars such as Sally Field, Mark Ruffalo, Rosie Perez, Alec Baldwin, Marisa Tomei, Julianne Moore, Cynthia Nixon, Natalie Merchant, Michael Moore and Shailene Woodley and activists such as Al Sharpton and members of Planned Parenthood of New York City, the Working Families Party, Families USA, Greenpeace US and New York Communities for Change, according to a news release.
Robert DeNiro will also apparently speak at the rally, according to Michael Moore.

Wow, what a pitiful, small list of Hollywierdos. This is New York City— DeBlasio should have been able to summon hundreds, even thousands of A-lister celebrities for this event!
.......Oh wait, I forgot, most of the Hollywierdos who do “volunteer” work expect to have all travel, room and board expenses at the best hotels covered by the sponsoring “charitable” or political cause. Some of these narcissists actually demand to be compensated for their “volunteer” hours.
