Bergdahl is a coward who deserted his post in the face of the enemy. That makes him a coward and a traitor. Not only did he risk the lives of his fellow soldiers when he deserted his post, but he also cost the lives of others who went searching for him.
He is a war time traitor and needs to be shot.
