Before things got hot, a Kameraden was doing FID missions on the Dark Continent.
At an embassy meet and greet, there was (as he described) a piece of female Eurotrash, part of some NGO. She knew what he was, but was insistent, as the type are, on pontificating on things of which theyve no clue.
On and on, about what a wonderful world it would be, if only there were no guns.
She was allowed to spew nonsense for awhile. When enough was enough, my friend put down his drink, looked her in the eye, and said:
Go ahead. Ban guns. Take them ALL away. Then, when no ones left to oppose us, people like me, are going to tell people like you:
Get. In. The. Boxcar.
She paled, left for the restroom where she vomited, and left the function.
Weve a limited window.
Stop thinking reactive.
Furthermore, as Rilke once put it: "We should forgive our enemies, but not until they are hanged."
Wow, the ability to induce vomiting is pretty amazing. Or just one too many.
What is the point of this post? Something new today? This appears mostly a site of crazies, fringe, fanatics, whatever. Definitely not likely to help 2nd Amendment rights. Great poster children for control advocates. Just sayn.
Mic drop.
L
You’re wrong.
L
That didn’t make sense.
Indeed.
I am all for 2nd Amendment rights, I’ve got my share of guns, CCWs, and all of that, but some of these groups are fringe at best. The images, the incoherent writing, etc., do more damage than good.
Maybe the eye drops in her drink
If Trump accomplishes nothing else in his next 8 years, he’s done one great thing - he’s gotten some folks to quit groveling, get back up on their hind feet, and meet the enemy on the firing line. Although a few, like Reno89519, still want to grovel at the feet of the oppressors.
And how does rudeness help? Does it make you feel better?
in this case it does.
L
And how does groveling to the liberal agenda help? Does it make you feel better?
Look - over there. There’s your safe space. And a nice wool rug to pull over your head.
That wasn't Rainer Maria Rilke, but rather his antithesis, Heinrich Heine:
"Man sollte seinen Feinden vergeben, aber nicht, bevor sie aufgehängt sind."
Regards,
Excellent
The Kameraden told her the truth...
Something rarely done nowadays because of PC...at least in this country...
Vast hordes of bureaucrats in this country would have no problem stuffing you and me into a box car...
We are a cog in their wheel bringing about their socialist utopia...
You know "hope and change"
Thanks for the correction. Got my wires crossed on that one.
No problem! As Walt Disney once quipped - or was it Friedrich Nietzsche? - "The wise man admits he know nothing, while the fool is secure in his knowledge."
Regards,
That had to be Disney. Or Slim Pickens. lol
Thanks again.
